Notable Nelson Ave

Approaching us to help design their forever home in Saratoga Springs, this lovely couple entrusted us with their long-awaited dream. For years, they put their children first, patiently setting aside their vision until the time was right. Now, with their focus turned toward creating a home that reflected their journey, they were ready.

Our approach began with truly listening. We took the time to get to know them—their style, their story, and how they lived. They wanted a home that was both functional and elegant, one that didn’t just look beautiful but felt deeply personal. This connection became evident in our very first presentation: a carefully curated blend of old and new, in a palette of colors they loved.

A color palette of classic hues of red, blue, and green were woven throughout, grounding the space with a sense of history and warmth. Wide plank light wood floors combined with rich walnut and dark wood accents. With the goal being to create timeless traditional details in a new build, we collaborated with the contractor to add architectural details like tall window moldings and baseboards throughout, paneled walls and columns, and three-step crown molding.

From the inside out, every room flows effortlessly into the next, unified by meaningful art, layered accessories, and thoughtful design. The result is a home that captures a sense of legacy and tells their story—a perfect example of what’s possible when style, intention, and heart come together to create something lasting.
